Cordant People are currently hiring for a Sales Support Assistant, to join our clients sales team immediately, working in an exciting FMCG distribution company.

Within this role you will be responsible for building relationships with both the sales team and customers and operations.

Your Duties will include the following but not limited to:

  • Managing & supporting the day to day admin tasks for the sales team

  • Answering phones & customer service

  • Customer liaison and processing of B2B sales enquiries/orders

  • Grow Existing customer base through effective engagement.

  • Purchase order generation

  • Point of contact for queries and follow ups for key suppliers and customers

  • Identify and develop new customer sales opportunities

  • Assisting customers & sales team with order status and product availability

  • Order processing and coordination with purchasing and logistics department

  • General Admin support.

  • Requirement to complete ad-hoc tasks and projects to support the business

  • Strengthen relationships with existing customers, securing repeat business and new product sales

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

  • The ideal candidate will have minimum 1 years’ experience in a similar FMCG role

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail

  • Computer literacy is essential, and be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office & Excel and other MS applications

  • Have a confident and friendly telephone manner

  • Be self-motivated

  • Excellent attention to detail with excellent written and oral communication

 

Core Hours: Monday – Friday 9am-6pm
